Because of recent additions to their family the clients in Elst (Gld.) commissioned ORGA architect to design a two storied extension to their residence. De 9x6 meter house has a ridge that is perpendicular to its width which gives it a typical outlook. The contrasting design of the extension further enhances the original outlook. The chosen shape provides a maximal functional use of the interior space of the extension on the ground floor as well as on the first floor. The gap between the two sides of the roof is designed to let the maximal amount of sunlight in.
