The residents of a house on the historical Noorderakerweg in Osdorp wanted an ecological and sustainable extension to their home. The extension was intended to house a medical practice as well as an expansion of the living area. The distinctive features of the structure demanded a special design for the extension that would not conflict with the very steep roof. The result was a inconspicuous wooden extension that folds around the structure. De medical practice is housed in the basement and at the back the roof of the extension forms a back porch.
